“Pedal&Paddle” trip to Soomaa Wilderness
This three day program combines one day bicycle trip from Pärnu town to Soomaa National Park with self-guided two days canoeing trip in Soomaa wilderness. Two nights accommodation is included at local guesthouse in Soomaa National Park.
Day 1 – Bicycle ride Pärnu – Soomaa: a day-ride through nature, history, architecture on your own from Pärnu to Soomaa National Park(about 45 km). On the way you can cycle on former railway, through different neighborhoods and settlements, different architecture and see life of Estonia. Sindi will be town on your road, it is former workers settlement that is well known by broadcloth (a dense woolen cloth) industry. There is opportunity to visit museum that introduces history of the city and factory. Riding forward along river side you will see more interesting sights, like place of the oldest settlement in Estonia, sand caves, small cemeteries, Tori church and graveyard.

Day 2 – Canoe trip Kuusekäära – Riisa + walking nature trails: self-guided canoeing trip along Raudna river on the route of Kuusekäära-Riisa (12km). Instructions from the local guide. During the canoe trip you can also have a nice walk in the Lemmjõe nature trail (4 km trail in floodplain forest) as well as experience the largest peat-bog of Estonia – Kuresoo which you can reach by the Ingatsi hiking trail (3 km board walk).
Overnight at local guesthouse
Day 3 – Canoe trip Riisa – Jõesuu (18 km): paddle on the rivers of Halliste and Navesti with an opportunity to go for a bog-walking to Riisa bog trail (5 km wooden boardwalk). Afternoon transfer to Pärnu.
Meet: You can start a bicycle ride from the door of your hotel by ordering all necessary (bike, map, description of the route and attractions) there or from Baltreisen office that is located in the Pärnu city center (Nikolai street 9).
What to bring: You should wear comfortable clothes and footwear.

2 x canoeing equipment with local transport from guesthouse in Soomaa, instruction from local guide
