Pedal trip to Soomaa
We have prepared for cyclist a beautiful 1-day-ride through nature and history on their own from Pärnu to Soomaa National Park (about 45 km).
You can start exploring Pärnu County from the door of your accommodation by ordering all necessary – bike, map, description of the route and attractions – there or from our office that is located in the Pärnu city center. On the way you can cycle on former railway, through different neighborhoods and settlements with different architecture and explore life of Estonia. If you are taking our recommended route, the next city in Estonian context, will be Sindi. It is former workers settlement that is well known by broadcloth (a dense woolen cloth) industry. There is opportunity to visit nice museum that introduces history of the city and factory. Riding forward along river side you will see more interesting sights, like place of the oldest settlement in Estonia, sand caves, small cemeteries, Tori church…
